I sleep hungry
for one more night.
My haunted old room
comes again into light.
The sun left long ago
the moon reigns bright.
White grass is lovely
it blinds my poor sight.
I sleep starved for yet another night.
The world goes by my window
I want for it to stop.
What if I move too fast
all balls in the air drop?
Will I then be hungry
in the dark lonely night?
My weak eyes can't persist
in this starved, starved night..
