new leaf

This man who my parents look up to once said that the use of the words 'I', 'me', and 'my' should be minimised. He in his own correspondence with people rarely used these words. This is going to be the new challenge on this blog. Let's see how many posts can be published without using these keywords - words that have been used excessively prior to this.

Okay, so one paragraph without I-ME-MY was quite a task. The point here is not to find ways of writing without using these words, but to think and write about things outside of myself. Yes, my previous posts succeeded in grossing me out, despite my own warning about self-indulgence up there.

There is a need for a change - for finding an equilibrium between the extremes I tend to fall into.

More later.

hmm- self indulgence is the essence of blogging- I think ;)..I try to do this in real life conversations, trying to stay away from "my" life "my" problems and try to listen! it is soooo hard!!

@daisy: thank u, thank u, thank u! I feel much better. I can go on with life now, being my obnoxious-self, ignoring everyone around, without guilt, and I'm blaming you if I get into trouble :)
