Hello, Lady Luck. Nice to finally meet you!

Okay, I shall blog now.

Am I really watching Miss USA 2008? No. It's just a bad dream. Let's move on.

I have a list! List of wonderful things happening in and around me :)
I call it luck because it's just a sudden overwhelming shower of good news from all directions.
Usually good things happen equitemporally, and after much effort. This time it's different.
So, here goes - in no particular order:

1. I got a job! Another job, I should say. I applied for this job a month back, and had an interview today. And I got it! I'm a CAGER! I'll be working super hard, lugging around super heavy equipment, getting paid a super low salary, and I'll be super happy! Training for the job begins next week [with pay :)] and the real job begins in Fall.

2. A big scholarship for a friend! And I get a huge share! :)

3. A friend is probably going to transfer to new york city in Fall and is willing to sell her car to me for zero profit!

4. The professor I love loves me back just as much :) She gave me an 'A'. Okay, this is not as silly as this sounds. I take my evaluations seriously. And I am sick of being given the same grade as everyone around me, even if we deserve different things [decoded as meaning: I'm better than everyone else, and it's high time I get the acknowledgment ;)] The best thing is that Asshole Aki got a well-deserved 'B'! Okay, so it's not so well deserved in the particular task that we were graded on, but just for his general lack of brain.

5. My running partner got her driving licence today! And her boyfriend got a work visa! Yayy!!!

6. I found someone trustworthy to rent my apartment for the summer. This relieves me of the rent for the three months that I will be in India. My lease ends end of August, so it works out perfectly for me and this person. She came last evening to see my apartment before making up her mind to rent it. I cleaned every inch possible because I imagined she will have eyes like my mother/sister - this provided the fear/motivation required to clean up every inch. Sadly, this poor girl's eyes were nothing like them. She was so impressed by the apartment that she promised to keep it clean! Hah! Clean!

That's all for now. Six is not bad. Just hoping to have my film as a part of this wonderful-things-happening-in-my-life list soon. It's not looking very good now - but I have hope.

Lots of shoots tomorrow and day after. Should sleep now.

Thank you Daisy, for inspiring this post :)

P.S. - Discovered another layer of genius in Borat today after I read an anthropological article about him. Can't wait to share it in class on Monday!

lol - my life can be highly eventful sometimes :)

Great that you found someone trustworthy for the house. I had posted an ad on craigslist, and got the strangest spam queries for the longest time before the right person came along.
