Started reading Rushdie's Satanic Verses, but stopped in between. Am reading an anthology edited by Rajiv Mehrotra - it's about documentary filmmaking - hoping to get some inspiration for my present film.

Favourite Board Game?
Scrabble, monopoly, and something called Stock Market, which I played a lot when I was younger. I love games that stimulate my mind (calculations, vocabulary), or that allow me to use my cheating skills, like monopoly. People who know me know that I cheat always ;)

Favourite Magazine?
Economic and Political weekly, and Tehelka.

Favourite Smells?
Kebabs, rain, and babies. I'm not a nose person - my ears and eyes work much better than my nose.

Music that I'm in the mood for, the ocean, and lots of temple bells ringing simultaneously.

Not scary, for sure. Cool - maybe. For me, storms are to meant to be enjoyed sitting on a window sill with something intoxicating, and some good company.
