hello! hello! 1 2 3 check check

Done with the dreaded family dinner last night. It was fun. I shamelessly spent a lot of time with people I like, and completely ignored the two people I hate the most - and it worked.

Okay, before this post turns into one more word document saved on my desktop, never to be published, quick updates:

* my internet connection at present is a neighbor's wireless network called 'tsunami', which is scary but free of cost! back to my cheap ways in no time :)

* the internet connectivity comes and goes, and i still haven't found the right spot in my room

* apple B must have left home by now. can't wait to hear her boston updates :)

* i've concluded that my sickness is due to withdrawal symptoms, because i refuse to accept that i have jet lag

* i've been sleeping barely 5 hours every night, which is really annoying when i see people around snoring away to glory

* i'm taking my sister out to lunch today - Flavours! beer and salad :)

* i'm supposed to meet some friends later in the evening - to get sloshed, and relapse

* i'm too scared to drive in delhi - but i'll soon get over it because i'm sick of sitting at home and going out only with family

* delhi is different - and i'm beginning to fall in love with it all over again

* it hasn't rained since i got here - i blame aditya's curse for it

* there are strange new green buses on the roads in stead of the vomit covered old DTC buses

* i have a feeling i should start looking for work or something to do in the next three months

* all my fears of inheriting my dad's workaholic genes have been confirmed

* Baby T loves his bald head - and so do we :) He had a blast getting his head shaved in a fancy hair salon - yes, an air conditioned salon - i was shocked when i heard about the venue (because usually this ceremony is performed somewhere outside with lots of family watching while some priest like man shaves the baby's head with a knife like instrument, and then goes on to strip the baby and bathe it with curd while the baby shrieks out of pain and humiliation), and even more shocked when i heard about the origin of the idea - my MOM!

That's all for now...will be back as long as the tsunami lasts ;)
