Now I know what it feels like when you get out of the habit of blogging. It's not that I choose not to blog - just that I haven't been thinking about it at all.
Life seems to be back in place, and as anticipated, feels better than last year. I have four jobs and four courses this term. I bought my car in the first week thinking I'll just leave it in the parking lot for a month or two until I get my local license and actually learn to drive here. Less than a couple of hours later, I was driving to school because my bus didn't show up! And I haven't stopped since :) Got my cool red color GPS a couple of days later. Though I haven't used it yet, it feels good to know that I can go anywhere I want without getting lost.
My apartment looks good. It's colorful, more Indian, and more me. Will try to take photos and post them soon. Until then you'll just have to take my word for it.

Your story reminds me of my first driving experience too. My first year of college, I studied in Atlanta. My univ is about 30 mins driving distance from where I was staying. My dad however took pains in finding a local route where I don't have to get on interstate and that route took a little over hour. He told me to go the longer route for a few months till I get used to driving. But 3rd day I woke up late and took the interstate and never went back the local route after that!
