November

So I haven't really had the urge to blog since some time now. I wonder how people keep at it so consistently. I used to be one of them - remember, my NYC trip earlier this year when I blogged endlessly? I guess I've lost that loving feeling...oh, that loving feeling - now it's gone gone gone... Or maybe not. Maybe the fact that November is almost here will spring me back into action. No, not because three days after Halloween is election day, and that the day after is darker, and darker and darker it goes... My posts have become increasingly painful, I see now. My concern for your sanity is the reason I refrain from writing. Things will be different in November, isn't that what I started out with? Why November? Well, we all need a new beginning, right? The main character has a long life, but the film starts only at a particular point where a new story begins. One that will take us on an eventful journey. Uneventful journeys are not the stuff good films are made of, right? So will my life suddenly be eventful in November? Sweet November, remember that film? Random question, skip it. I definitely have a lot of plans for November. A Halloween hangover that should carry over, even if for only a few hours, into November. Then there is WEEK 10 of my term, the last week of the term, ending on November 7, which promises to be very eventful. The cold November rain will probably turn into snow by the time it falls upon us. There will definitely be a road trip to Buffalo, NY - to get my Canadian visa, and if we're lucky, a drink on the Canadian side of Niagara falls the same day. A few days of shooting for the film, just to make myself feel constructive. And then off to Canada for slightly over a week. Nope, this is not it. The reason I may catch the blogging bug once again will not be because of any of this. Do you see how I have been deceiving you all this time, and haven't even cared to start a new paragraph, and make this any easier to read? Okay, before you remove me from your blogroll/bookmark/random search, here it is: last year Thanksgiving was the time I started to blog. Simple as that. Landmarks do wonders sometimes. Don't you think?

Really? Less than a year?

Somehow I assumed an American visa would let you enter Canada at will!

Of course less than a year! What would I have been nostalgic about before I left home?? That makes you a veteran :P

I wish an American visa had as much power as a fucking american passport. You know, these people don't need visas to go anywhere in the world - more than half the countries just stamp their passports ON ARRIVAL! That is so bloody unfair. The Study Abroad fairs on my campus have no mention of visas - their big thing is passport applications! This unequal world makes me so angry! What to do, lawyer saahib?
