A long long weekend comes to an end.

I love it when things happen - good or bad. I love it as long as life is interesting.

Yesterday's shoot was good fun. I was thankfully low in the crew hierarchy. So my friend RH and I decided to force our brains to shut down for a whole day. And very soon I found myself playing catch with myself - throwing my leather working gloves high up in the air and catching them. I remembered my wannabe cricketer days :)

After the shoot, my friend RH and I went to this bar full of beer treasures. It's right across the street from my campus. But it was my first time there. We had blueberry beer! It was delicious. The conversation ranged from gandhi (very appropriate on 26th of january...actually not very appropriate!) to marriage; from blacks, whites and colors, to film school bitching; from america to india and back to america; from sisters to mothers to heartbreaks - the only common thing behind all this talk being our blasphemous tone. There was a point where I had to control my voice in the fear of offending fellow barmates - the subject being what else but 9/11!

All in all a great night! I finally found someone...someone to share my life...and my eccentricities! And he confessed yesterday about me being his only friend in this god-forsaken shitty town! I'm so glad! It is just amazing how so very different RH and I are - and yet we have had the exact same experiences growing up!

Now about the "bad" in my weekend. Work failed to excite me still. A big blow was my Spanish teacher who resigned today. It broke my heart. For her and for myself. I hope her husband gets well. I'm more unsure about my Spanish class and summer program. Hopefully things will fall into place soon.

Tomorrow is Monday, beginning of week 7.
This term feels like it will never end.
Will meet N tomorrow - hope he has a magical potion prepared for me, Aki, RH and Bozo.
I'm really counting on him for my survival in this hopeless shit.
