night at the little

Had a wonderful, wonderful time tonight.

Saw "Persepolis", "Sticks and Stones", and some other short films. Basically, I finally went to the Little Theatre. I know exactly where it is now - and I'm going back very soon. Well, I could go tomorrow, before I go to campus to watch the grad screenings.

I still haven't seen Juno :(

N is just so cool. I really hope his film does well and he gets all that he deserves.

It was nice to do something social after a long time. I should get out more often. It is very good for me - not just for networking (which I'm still uncomfortable doing), but for my own sanity. There is no way I can live only between home and school. In fact, I shouldn't.

Also met Rowdy Reh. She tagged along, obviously! There is no way to avoid her if she's within a two mile radius! She's still not drinking - which is admirable. And it wasn't so bad chatting with her, as long as I'm not responsible for any aspect of any film that she's making! She had some useful tips for my Mexico trip this summer. She is quite smart, and well-travelled and all, but I still can't figure out why she's so bitter towards most people she comes in contact with.

I had fun travelling in the opposite direction today - taking the downtown bus instead of the bus to campus. I really should get out more, did I say that already?

Enough rambling for the night..adios mi amigos.

At least Reh didn't try to drag us to a bunch of bars this time, or recruit us for a project!

She would have, and we would have sheepishly followed, if it wasn't for N.
