Life is (back to) Beautiful

Had a rough day and a half. Came back early yesterday - with eyes hurting - and enthusiasm to edit. Saw a film called 'Rumor has it'. Edited for two hours. Cooked really nice chicken after a long time. Saw 'Liar Liar' with dinner. Slept.

Just got up, and need to go back to editing. Just one thing - I dreamt that I was playing with Baby T, who looked like a three-month old baby (like he was when I last saw him) but was talking. Then I met my mother and realized that I forgot to buy any gifts!!! Yeah, I could have predicted this. Now that the time comes close, my paranoia about forgetting things will be on the rise. I need to take care of a lot - the apartment, buy stuff for a lot of people, pack! And all this has been kept aside for the last week. Also, visiting a few Museums that I haven't seen yet, and a lot of other things with a friend who is transferring to NYC in Fall. This is the last chance we get to spend time in this shitty place - then on, it'll be me visiting her in NYC :)

Oh, btw, the weather is back to not nice. It was so bloody cold yesterday. Right now it's 2 degrees celsius! This is Spring for God's sake!

So, as my last post suggested, I've recently surprised myself with thoughts of mellowing down. I kinda like the idea. Let's see how that goes.

Registration for Fall has begun. Why they want us to register now for a term that is so far away doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, I haven't registered yet. I've sort of figured out what I want - but need to negotiate some things with my advisor. I'm trying to make as many films as I can, even when we're not supposed to be making films, and at the same time finish my requirements within the next year. I may want to finish my requirements by the end of next Winter, so that I can go for the Spring semester to Croatia! More on that later.

As some of you know already, this baby bravely jumped off his bed in the middle of the night and fractured his collar bone. It's a minor fracture, and he's doing much better now. His birthday is coming up soon, and he wants all of you to pray/wish/hope, whatever works, that he is able to enjoy his very first birthday party, even with the sling on his arm. Go now, do your thing.
