Finally! A good day.
:)
Went out for lunch with my sis to the new Big Chill. It's really roomy, and lots of parking space outside. The food was as good as always, just smaller portions than before, which was disappointing because I was really hungry. We had heavenly deserts - mint chocolate chip, and Belgian chocolate ice-cream. Then we went back home to a lazy Baby T, and lazed around a bit.
There was a screening of Fellini's "La Strada" at the Italian Cultural Center last evening. I really wanted to go, but was afraid I will not have any company, and will be too lazy to go alone. But! I got my Aunt and her sister (both big movie buffs) to go with me. Seeing this, my Mom got upset (because we were already at a low, and then I didn't even invite her for the film). So I insisted on her coming with us. She made some excuses - said she won't understand the film. I pushed some more, and so we four went to the movies!
I was afraid that my Mom wouldn't enjoy the film, and it would be a waste of her time, especially because she was going to miss her evening prayer session. At the same time I was hoping the film is brilliant, and she loves it. The latter happened, and we had a happy ending, which for me meant that I was let go for the night happily by my Mom.
I went to CP! And it rained! It was perfect. We went to central park - me, Shrenzy, and Jimmy - to discuss about the film we're going to make. Shrenzy is directing, I'm the DP, and Jimmy's the lead actor. I'll tell you more about this talented group of people, and their national and international success later. So we ended up getting really wet in the rain. We went to TGIF for drinks, and some more discussion. Both of them are crazy so I had a great time. Much later we went to McDonald's to eat, where the manager was trying to get rid of us. Some family tables were getting scandalized watching us so late at night - lol. What the hell were the families doing eating out at half past midnight on a week night?!?
Then the best part - the drive back home :) Windows open - me in the back of the car - loud music - and India Gate! I loved every second of it.
Me very happy :)
BREAKING NEWS on Baby T: Overnight he has started mumbling significantly more than before. All eyes and ears are on him now, waiting to hear the much-awaited "NC maasi" in that angelic voice of his.
